Government of FYROM has decided to compensate all damages caused from the armed clash last weekend in the northern city of Kumanovo.
The government has decided to compensate the families of fallen police officers, wounded officers, participating police officers, medical staff in the hospitals of the country, but also the residents of the Kumanovo quarter where the fights took place.
70 thousand Euros have been allocated for the families of fallen police officers. 15-40 thousand Euros for wounded police officers, 5 thousand to 10 thousand Euros for police officers who participated in the operation, while an amount is also allocated for the medical staff in the hospitals of Skopje and Kumanovo.
As far as ruined and damaged houses are concerned, an initial amount of 1600 Euros has been allocated, while a committee has been appointed to assess the damages.
The government declared that it will compensate 100% of damages. Families who have remained homeless will be provided accommodation until the construction of their homes. /ibna/
