The government of Kosovo has approved the bill for the ratification of the international agreement between Republic of Kosovo and the European Union on the EU rule of law mission in Kosovo, through which EULEX will be in Kosovo until 15 June 2018.
The government has also approved the legal amendments relating to the continuation of EULEX’s mandate in Kosovo.
PM Isa Mustafa said that the government has reached an agreement with the EU for such thing.
“We have reached an agreement with the EU in relation to the continuation of EULEX’s mission. Last night we received the reply from the EU representative, Federica Mogherini. This is why we have proceeded once again with these two bills which are in harmony with the letter of the president and the EU”, Mustafa declared.
The decision for the continuation of EULEX’s mandate in Kosovo will be sent today to the Parliament of Kosovo through a fast track procedure. /balkaneu.com/
