
Government of Kosovo has approved and sent to Parliament the bill on the 2017 budget today.
Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa said that the 2017 budget is a budget that will boost development and a budget that reflects the governing program of the coalition.
Mustafa said that most of the budget funds are generated from tax and non tax incomes.
A part of the budget has been secured through loans from international institutions and a part of the funds are allocated by the Kosovo Agency for Privatization.
Mustafa added that the 2 billion USD budget has 50% more capital investments.
According to him, budget deficit is projected to be around 1,5% lower than the IMF’s threshold. He has pledged that the budget will be allocated in a proportional way as far as ministries and communes are concerned. /balkaneu.com/
