“Gostivar 14” art exhibition is being held in Gostivar. In this exhibition, painters and artists of the figurative art from different countries of the Balkan region and other countries are showing their works.
At the opening of this year’s edition were present the mayor of Gostivar, Nevzat Bejta and the head of the Cultural Center of Gostivar, Luan Zenku and other government representatives.
“Every year, the exhibition that is held in Gostivar sees improvements and this year marks the zenith of the quality in terms of organization. We have artists from 10 states, over 30 artists and this is an extraordinary number. This year’s edition will be artistically favored. We also hope that artists coming from abroad to be happy with the organization”, said Reshat Ahmeti, head of the “Dradacum” Association of Figurative Artists from Gostivar.
Mayor of Gostivar, Nevzat Bejtja said that this activity is of a special importance because it’s being held on the Day of the Commune and this has a great significance for the citizens of Gostivar.
The exhibition will stay open for five days in hotel “Panorama” in Gostivar, while on June 30, there will also be an exhibition at the Gallery of the Cultural Center.
Present in this exhibition are 30 artists from FYR Macedonia, Albania, Skopje, Montenegro, Turkey, Egypt, Kosovo, Romania, Serbia and Azerbaijan. /ibna/
