A special discussion in the EP on the situation in Greece asked today from Martin Schulz SYRIZA MEP Manolis Glezos.
In his intervention at the opening process of the Summit of the European Parliament plenary in Strasbourg, Glezos, submitted a proposal to President Martin Schulz, to approve the House a special discussion on the situation in Greece.
This, Glezos added, I ask so that no one from the European Parliament express views on Greece, without these having first been approved by the Body.
Completing his intervention, the SYRIZA MP, spoke against Martin Schulz stressing that:
“I am very sorry, Mr. President, but you went to Greece and expressed some views on the situation in my country, without having the consent of the European Parliament or have the authorisation. Did you express your views or others?”, Glezos asked.
Replying, the President of the European Parliament noted that the proposal has been filed too late and advised the SYRIZA MEP, to turn to the Unionist Party of the Left, which should submit a proposal to the Conference of Presidents.
