Based on the exclusiveness that national assets have, in cases when contracts with the private sector on them have failed, then these assets will go back to the state.
“This is how we will act with every agreement that fails, in order for these assets to be offered in auction tomorrow for strategic investors who will exploit these sources”, was the explanation of the minister of Energy and Industry of Albania, Damian Gjiknuri, commenting on the recent debates that are taking place about state owned oil companies.
“At least in the oil sector, we do have state owned companies. If a private investor fails, as it has often happened, then the asset would go back to the state”, he explained. /balkaneu.com/
