Giorgos Lanthimos’”The Favorite” wins Seven BAFTA awards

The movie “The Favorite” by the Greek filmmaker Giorgos Lanthimos, which was nominated for 12 awards, won the BAFTA award in seven categories, justifying the predictions, while it was the film with the most awards this year at the awards of the British Academy.

Giorgos Lanthimos and The Favourite won the following Best British Film Awards, Original Screenplay to Deborah Devis and Tony McNamara, Best A’ Female Role to Olivia Colman, Best B’ Female Role to Rachel Rachel Weisz, Production Design to Fiona Crombie and Alice Felton, Costumes Design to Sandy Powell and Makeup to Nadia Stacey.

Giorgos Lanthimos’s film has also been nominated in 10 categories for this year’s Oscar.
