Government of Kosovo and government of Germany have signed an agreement on development cooperation, amounting to 29,5 million Euros.
The agreement was signed by the minister of Finance of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti and the minister of Development and Economic Cooperation of Germany, Gerd Muller.
Kosovo’s Finance Minister, Avdullah Hoti said that the German government has given financial aid to Kosovo in the amount of 480 million Euros after the war.
“The agreement that we have signed today amounts to 29,5 million Euros. 17 million Euros consist of financial assistance and 12,5 million Euros consist of technical assistance. These funds will have multiple effects on the economy, combining education, labor market, energy efficiency and other domains”, said minister Hoti.
“Germany is committed in supporting the development of Kosovo and to boost cooperation between the two countries”, said minister Muller, who declared that he would lobby in order to encourage German businesses to increase direct investments in Kosovo. /ibna/
