The German parliament will vote on the extension of the loan agreement with Greece on Friday morning, as announced today the parliamentary representative of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), Michael Grosse-Broemer.
Indeed, the MP appeared convinced that there will be a “widespread adoption”, despite the fact that in the camp of Chancellor Angela Merkel there are some “doubts as to any additional payments to Greece”.
The vote in the Bundestag depends on whether the institutions that supervise Greece’s support program (EU, ECB, IMF) will approve the list of reforms presented last night in Athens.
Eurozone’s Finance Ministers will decide on the issue in a teleconference which will be held at 15:00 (CET).
