On Tuesday, from the German supermarket chain’s logistics centre in Nova Pazova, not far from Belgrade, Lidl Srbija Director Tomislav Sapina announced the opening of the first Lidl stores in Serbia by the end of 2018.
Sapina said that, “Lidl will be the fist discount chain in Serbia, whose presence will improve the retail sector in the country.”
He added that the company “currently employs 500 people in Serbia, but that this number will grow once the stores open in Belgrade and a dozen other cities”, B92 wrote…. / IBNA
