The European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE) has agreed to grand a €7mln loan to Garanti Leasing, part of the financial group Garanti Romania, which will be used fund micro and small enterprises in Romania, thus providing them with fixed asset financing, the company announced.
“Micro and small enterprises represent a segment of interest for the Romanian economy. However, they still face limited access to the funding needed to grow and achieve success. We are glad that we can support these companies through the partnership with the European Fund for Southeast Europe”, said Okan Yurtsever, general manager Garanti Leasing.
Garanti Leasing has been part of Garanti Romania group since 2010 and is charged with completing the group’s range of products and services with leasing offers for vehicles, equipment and real estate, sale and lease-back.
Since its inauguration, the company granted EUR 650 million for assets in financial leasing and signed over 40,000 leasing contracts.
It currently operates through seven local offices.
