Current chairman of OSCE and Foreign Minister of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, declared today in Ohrid in the framework of the CEI meeting, that the stability of FYR Macedonia is important for the entire region.

“It’s very important to preserve stability in Macedonia. We back all the appeals of the EU for the political crisis to be solved. We condemn every form of violence or terrorism in the country and OSCE is ready to offer every service at its disposal, should there be a need for this”, Dacic declared.

OSCE, said Dacic, has missions and representatives on field from all member countries. Dacic said that even in the case of the political crisis in FYROM, OSCE has expressed its readiness to help in the solution of the domestic crisis.

In relation to the emigrants that use FYROM and Serbia as a transit to reach EU countries, Dacic underlined that the EU must look into mechanisms of how to stop such large number of people crossing their borders. /ibna/
