Parliament of FYR Macedonia will hold on Friday a session to decide on revoking the mandates of the Macedonian opposition’s MPs.
Speaker of parliament, Trajko Veljanovski has scheduled on Friday a session, which will discuss the proposal for the revocation of opposition MPs.
Parliamentary committee for immunity and regulation has concluded that 31 opposition MPs have been absent without a reason for six months in parliamentary sessions.
But, the opposition’s decision about the parliamentary boycott has been political. Macedonian opposition led by LSDM has not recognized the April general elections of this year.
Now, VMRO-DPMNE and BDI majority must vote the proposal for the revocation of mandates. In case these mandates are revoked, parliament will announce partial elections and the country will head toward fresh parliamentary elections. /ibna/
