Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Skopje has declared today that the unfolding of the final positioning of the sides regarding the name dispute would leave less room for negotiations. This reaction follows a declaration issued by the Greek Foreign minister, Nikos Kotzias, who said that next month, Greece will deliver in Skopje the four points agreement which will act as a basis for the solution of the name dispute and the integration of the country in the NATO and EU.
“There’s good will on our side to reach a joint and acceptable solution, which will respect the interests, identity and the dignity of both countries”, the Foreign ministry said.
Meanwhile, the EU ambassador to Skopje has also reacted about this process. According to him, the European Union welcomes the intensification of talks on the name and the visit that the UN official, Nimetz will hold in Skopje and Athens. /balkaneu.com/
