Bank of Macedonia has announced that the economy of the country is recovering well.
This was said today by the committee for monetary policies of the bank, which has considered the economic environment as stable, avoiding the trends of the global economic crisis that affected the region.
“We have positive signs which indicate a long term recovery in the private sector, while the economy has been significantly supported at the present through monetary policies”, said the vice governor of the central bank, Fadil Bajrami.
The committee discussed today the state of the economy of the country and the countries of the region, the movements in international financial markets and the country’s markets and also the new macroeconomic indicators.
According to him, the recent economic activity indicators show that the economy of the country continued to grow in the second quarter, where several sectors such as industry and trade, could perform better than the first quarter. /ibna/
