The volleyball national team of former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia has qualified for the semi final of the European League, although this is the first time that it participates this tournament.
This national team has achieved six wins in a row and the last one was achieved last night with the victory against Turkey in the “Boris Trajkovski” house of sports in Skopje.
The national team was praised for the collective game and excellent style of its players, Nikola Georgiev, Jovica Simovski, who scored 12 points. So far, FYROM has only lost a point against Denmark, ranked first with 14 points in Group B.
The potential opponents in the semi final are Greece, Romania and Montenegro. /ibna/
