Prime Minister Zoran Zaev has announced that during this month, he will launch negotiations with small political parties for the expansion of the governing coalition. BESA and PDSH are the two opposition parties which may become part of the parliamentary majority, with the aim of backing the reforms and integration processes.
In a meeting held yesterday between PM Zaev, leader of BESA Party, Agim Gashi, it was agreed that the representatives of these two political parties should start negotiations this month.
But, there’s also a possibility for PDSH led by Menduh Thaci to become part of the governing coalition. In case these two parties enter the coalition, the majority may have 70 MPs. Zaev is looking for a new ally in the government following the departure of the Alliance for Albanians led by Ziadin Sela from the coalition. /balkaneu.com/
