Majority and opposition voted today in parliament the declaration which supports the process of the country’s accession in the NATO.
SDSM lawmaker, Hari Llokvenec said that this is a historical moment for the country, which needs to be exploited. According to him, NATO’s accession brings security and stability, but also economic benefits.
VMRO-DPMNE lawmaker, Dragan Danev said that this party supports the declaration and that this declaration will offer a powerful contribution in the country’s accession in the NATO.
The voting of this document comes a few days after the country received an invitation to become a NATO member, on condition that it finalizes the agreement on the country’s new name, North Macedonia. /ibna/
