Following the government cabinet meeting today, the Prime Minister of FYROM, Zoran Zaev said that the name of the largest airport in the country, “Alexander the Great” has been changed to “Skopje’s International Airport”, while the highway along Corridor 10 has been named “Highway of Friendship”. According to him, this is a big step to confirm relations of friendship and trust with Greece.
“For the sake of the ongoing process of talks with Greece, I do not want to make any further comments, but we’re acting very cautiously”, Zaev said, adding that he’s optimistic on finding a solution.
“It looks very difficult, but we have never expected it to be easy. As a government, we are committed in finding a solution for this problem”, Zaev said. /balkaneu.com/
