Last evening, authorities in Skopje have extradited from Kosovo Almir Drljani, who was arrested in neighboring Kosovo in 2012. Macedonian Ministry of Interior had issued an international arrest warrant in 2008 and following a trial, he was convicted to life in prison.
According to the Ministry of Interior, Drljani is charged with the murder of a police inspector and the injury of three other police agents on November 26, 2008 in Skopje. Drljani is also accused of bank robberies, the post office, jewelry shops and other robberies perpetrated from 2006 until 2012.
Police in the country suspect that the arrested man may be involved in the five fold murder taken place in Smilkovc, Skopje. /ibna/
