FYROM gains 10 places in the competiveness ranking

The latest report of the World Economic Forum ranks FYR Macedonia 63rd this year as opposed to the 73rd position last year in the index of competitiveness.

Among countries of the region, Montenegro ranks 67th, Slovenia ranks 70th, Croatia ranks 77th, Greece 94th and Albania 97th.

Based on the report of the World Economic Forum, for the period 2014-2015, the index of competitiveness for FYR Macedonia is 4,26 on a scale from 1 to 7.

Based on the report, Switzerland is the most competitive country among 144 countries in the world, followed by Singapore, USA, Germany, Finland, Japan, Hong Kong, Holland, Britain and Sweden. /ibna/
