FYROM defeated by Israel in Skopje

Last night, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia was defeated by the Israeli national football side and this was the second defeat in the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifying matches for FYROM.

The match was played in “Philip II” stadium and ended with a 2:1 win for the guests.

The Israeli players were considered to be better on the field and their goal scoring opportunities were more in number.

The goals for the Israelis were scored by Tomer Hamed and Tal Ben Caim. Meanwhile, Ilija Nestorovski scored for FYROM in the second half.

FYROM will play its next match against Italy on Sunday in Skopje. /balkaneu.com/
