The campaign for the referendum on the issue of the name continues, but political players in the country are not yet fully engaged in it. Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and his cabinet have started their summer holidays. Zaev is spending his holidays in Ohrid along with his family. A part of the ministers have chosen to spend their holidays in Greece, while others are spending them in Albania, Montenegro, Turkey and other countries.
Meanwhile, the leader of VMRO-DPMNE in opposition, Hristijan Mickoski has chosen not to go on holiday due to his numerous political engagements.
The government has announced that after the holidays, it will start the campaign for the referendum concerning the issue of the country’s new name, North Macedonia, which gives way to the country’s accession in the NATO and EU. /ibna/
