Government in FYR Macedonia is interested on being part of the project for the construction of the railway road from the port of Piraeus in Greece to Budapest.
This was said by the deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Vladimir Pesevski in a meeting with a Chinese delegation, led by deputy PM for National Development, Ksu Ksianping, deputy general director of the Chinese railway company, Huang Min and vice chairman of the Chinese bank Eksim, Sun Ping.
Deputy PM Pesevski added that the meeting agreed on conducting a study for this project and its cost and then to pass onto the second stage that relates to the confirmation of models for the funding of the project.
“This project is very important, because it would boost economic growth and it will open a large number of jobs, while our country will become one of the main transport corridors in Europe”, said Pesevski. /ibna/
