During his stay in Brussels, Prime Minister Edi Rama was received in a meeting by the EU Enlargement Commissioner, Stefan Fule.
During this meeting, the two personalities discussed about Albania’s objectives toward European Integration and the measures that Albania must take to move forward in the path toward EU integration.
Rama and Fule also talked about cooperation of high levels between Albania and EU, in order to fulfill the necessary reforms as soon as possible.
Commissioner Fule encouraged the new government to continue the process of the reforms that relate to integration.
“Constructive collaboration between the government and opposition will be critical in overcoming the challenges of Albania in the path of EU integration. Albania must particularly focus on the rule of law and fight against corruption and organized crime”, said Commissioner Fule, while stressing that the European Commission is finalizing the Progress Report for the past 12 months. /ibna/
