Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj has met today with the French Secretary of State at the Ministry of Armed Forces, Genevieve Darrieussecqe and discussed with her topics regarding the area of security and other aspects of collaboration.
Haradinaj said that Kosovo is grateful for the contribution that France has given throughout the years and that the country is committed to improving its political, economic and diplomatic partnership.
Haradinaj demanded France’s support in the process for the liberalization of visas and the accession of Kosovo in international organizations.
During this meeting, PM Haradinaj briefed secretary Darrieussecqe about the transition of the Kosovo Security Force into the Armed Forces of Kosovo.
“Our strategic goal is to become part of NATO and EU and we see France as a partner in this path”, PM Haradinaj said.
Meanwhile, the French official assured PM Haradinaj that the French state will continue to be a strong supporter of the developments in Kosovo, especially the ones concerning security./ibna/
