Foreign Ministry of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia has sent a note of protest to the Greek ambassador to Skopje, Theoharis Lalakos, in relation to the chants of Greek soldiers against Macedonians, in a military drill held in July 2014.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs demands from Greek authorities to take urgent measures in order to condemn these acts and tendencies which are against European values and the Greek authorities must make sure that such uncivil acts are not repeated in the future”, reads the note of protest sent to ambassador Lalakos.

Since last week, a video had circulated on Youtube showing Greek soldiers chanting messages of hate against Albanians and Turks.
“General, in the mountains, without bread and water, we will only drink Turkish, Macedonian, Arab and Albanian blood”, were the words of their song.

The video was initially published by Greek media, according to which, it’s now clear within Greek Armed Forces, Neo Nazi cells have been established inciting hatred against neighbors and people of other religions. /ibna/
