Former Foreign Minister of FYROM dies at the age of 70

Former Foreign Minister of FYR Macedonia, Slobodan Casule passed away at the age of 70 in Madrid, as a result of a disease. At the present, Mr. Casule was the ambassador of the country in Spain.

Casule was born in Skopje on 27 September 1945. He was the son of a prominent writer in FYROM, Kole Casule. In 1972, Casule completed his university studies at the Catholic University of Lima in Peru.

Slobodan Casule was one of the founders of TV Skopje, a correspondent of this channel in Chile and Peru, correspondent of Tanjug in Latin America and the Caribbean and editor in chief of Tanjug in FYROM.

On 30 November 2001, Casule became Foreign Minister of FYROM and this was the period when the 2001 armed conflict was solved. /ibna/
