The new football season in FYR Macedonia will kick off on August 3, while Macedonian Football Federation has not given the green light for several stadiums which do not meet the necessary conditions.
Restrictions have also been put in place for the stadiums of Tetovo, Manastir and Zelznica. As a result, first league teams such as Shkendija and Renova that play in Tetovo and Pelisteri that plays in Manastir, must search for other alternatives to play their matches.
Infrastructure commission at the Federation has granted permission for several matches to be played in the stadiums of Skopje, Kumanovo, Kocan, Probistip, Veles, Prilep, etc. The only stadium that meets all conditions is the “Philip II Arena” in Skopje. This year, the first football league has seen some changes, as only 10 teams will play in it. /ibna/
