The new 2014-2015 football season in FYR Macedonia is expected to start in August and it will have four rounds. This is the first time that the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) applies such format in both leagues
10 teams will play in the first league: Ramotnicki, Horizont Turnova, Metalurg, Shkendija, Vardar, Pelister, Bregallnica, Renova, Sileks and Teteks.
The last two ones were promoted from the Second Football League, while the teams that were relegated were: EuroMilk, Makedonija G.P, Napredok and Gostivar.
The two teams which are positioned at the bottom of the table of the First League will be automatically relegated to the Second League, while the first two teams of the Second League will be promoted to the First League.
The Second League will also have 10 teams.
The leagues containing ten times each and 4 rounds have been considered as the best ones by the heads of FFM. This will bring a higher quality in football, as there will be more matches between the strong teams.
Federation officials claim that this way will also increase the number of fans in stadiums, as matches will enjoy a higher quality. /ibna/
