The Minister of Foreign Affairs Ioannis Kasoulides will participate in the Conference on Security and Stability, which convenes on 8 and 9 of September in the Greek island of Rhodes on the initiative of the Greek FM Nicos Kotzias.
According to an official press release, the Rhodes Conference will be attended by Ministers of Foreign Affairs and high ranking officials from Greece, Albania, Bulgaria, Italy, Croatia, Cyprus, Slovakia, Egypt, Algeria, the UAE, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia.
The aim of the Conference is to exchange views and examine the possibility of regional cooperation and joint initiatives to address the security challenges in the wider Eastern Mediterranean, such as the immigration issue, maritime safety and human safety.
