A fire was reported today in the premises of the government of FYROM’s building, while the causes seem to relate to an electrical fault.
Fire fighting teams reached the scene and managed to distinguish the fire.
This event has alarmed the government administration, which has been immediately evacuated.
Blagoja Menkovski, head of the firefighters’ department in Skopje, said that the fire has engulfed a part of the government buildings and that this has happened due to an electrical fault.
“We localized the fire and found the fault. After this, police teams are conducting further inquiries”, declared Menkovski.
This incident happens a few days after the government building was attacked with two grenades. Responsibility for this was assumed by National Liberation Army (UCK), through a statement, which is being investigated by Macedonian security agencies. /ibna/
