After four nights, it was concluded the Military Musical Formations Festival of NATO countries, Mediterranean region, organized by the Centre of Culture, Media and Defence Publications, under the auspices of the Minister of Defence, Mr. Arben Imami. In last night the Wind Orchestra of the Kosovo Security Forces presented its concert at the main hall of the CCMDP.
In the concert attended Deputy Minister of Defence, Ms. Arta Musaraj, the Secretary of the Republic of Kosovo Embassy in Tirana, Ms. Ifete Çeku, senior officers of the Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces, CCMDP, representatives of the wind orchestras of the countries participating in the festival, and many invited citizens of the capital.
The concert of the KSF Wind Orchestra began with the execution of the National Anthem of the Republic of Kosovo and later was played the “KSF March”, “Scippio March”, “St. George March”, “American Patrol” orchestrated by Tomor Berisha; “Conquest of Paradise” of Vangelis.
Later, the concert continued with the performance of Tuxhi Ensemble, with “N’jat Zaman T’saj Furie”, orchestrated by Isak Shehu, folk music, the song “Just A Closer Walk”, “Peter Gun” by Henry Mancini, “James Bond” movie soundtrack, “Cahterboxh-Cha-Cha-Cha” of Kess Vlak, “Baresha” of Rexho Mulliqi and orchestrated by Kushtrim Gashi, etc, which were followed with great ovations from the spectators. The culmination moment was during the interpretation of the song “Xhamadani vija-vija”, which filled with applauses the whole hall.
At the end of the festival, which actually was a complete success during its four nights, Deputy Minister of Defence, Mrs. Arta Musaraj presented a bouquet of flowers to the conductor of the KSF Wind Orchestra, Mr. Baki Jashari and congratulated the musical formation for the excellent performance.
The conclusion of the Military Musical Formations Festival of NATO countries, Mediterranean region, not only marked another milestone and achievement in the broad range of artistic and cultural activities organized and that will continue to be organized the Centre of Cultural, Media and Defence Publications of the Ministry of Defence, but it will create a new tradition, making this regional festival an annual event.
