The mayor of Struga and leader of the opposition party Movement for Reforms-PDSH has said that in case Macedonians are not interested to strike a deal for the advancement of the position of Albanians, such as the full use of the Albanian language and other issues, then according to him, the option of federalizing FYROM will be envisaged.
“In our platform, we have considered Macedonia as a bi-national state, of Macedonians and Albanians who are in majority and other ethnic groups which means that the Albanian language must be an official language in all of the territory of the country. We also want a real allocation of the budget and proper decentralization, and not like the one today, where the power centralized the same way as it was in the time of colonies”, Sela said.
According to him, once his party receives the majority of Albanian votes in the upcoming elections, it will set clear conditions to the Macedonian side and if they refuse, then according to him, federalization acts as plan B. /balkaneu.com/
