The film “Father”, directed by Visar Morina will participate in the 66th edition of the international film festival “Berlinale”.
The film will be shown on Friday 12 February at 4 pm at Zoo Palast in Berlin.
This is one of the most successful films of Kosovo’s cinema and recently, the protagonist of this film, Astrit Kabashi was awarded the prize for the best actor in the “Angers Film Festiva” in France.
“Father” reveals the story of Nori (Val Maloku), a child who sells cigarettes on the street along with his father, Gezim (Astrit Kabashi) in Kosovo in the ‘90s. The father wants to find a way to move to Germany, but the son does everything to be with him.
Stuck between the desire to be together and the need to face the harsh reality, their relations reach a point where nothing is like it used to be before. /ibna/
