Farmers withdraw from the blockades

Since Saturday drawn the tractors have started to withdraw from the blockade at Tempi. After 37 days on the streets the farmers of the blockade at Tempe made an evaluation of their struggle so far and decided to leave, warning the government however, that they will find them opposite it it does not honor its commitments.

On Friday night opened the customs office of Promachonas. Speaking to AMNA, a member of the steering committee, Stergios Litos, pointed out that they will decide on their next move in their following meeting.

The farmers at the blockade of the Customs Office in Exochi at the Greek-Bulgarian border remain true to their plan to accommodate the car drivers. At the same time, there is an indefinite blockade for trucks and lorries, while regarding the movement of cars and coaches, they pass freely for the two hours between 15:00-17: 00 and from 22:30 – 10 am, when it closes again.
