The wide space outside the National Library in Bucharest turned into a film set. The last scenes starring Glenn Close from the American Science-Fiction movie “What Happened to Monday” were shot in Bucharest on Sunday. The famous actress, well-known for leading roles in films such as Franco Zeffirelli’s Hamlet, “Fatal Attraction” or “101 Dalmatians” was in the spotlight all day.
The Romanian film industry has developed steadily over the years and an increasing number of foreign producers choose to have their movies shot in this country.
The shooting of “What Happened to Monday” will be wrapped up in November and will hit the big screen next year. The cast also includes famous actors Noomi Rapace and Willem Dafoe.
