The representatives of the families of the missing persons from Cyprus, are staying on a two day visit in Kosovo.
The delegation will have a meeting with the vice Special Representative of the Secretary General, Robert Sorenson and the Head of the Work Group on Missing Persons, Lina Milner. The latter are expected to present the work made by the commission in shedding light upon the destiny of persons who have gone missing in Kosovo as a result of the war in 1998 and 1999.
On November 11, 2013, the Cypriot delegation was received in a meeting by the Parliamentary Committee for Human Rights, Gender Equality, Missing Persons and Petitions. A reception was also hosted for the families of the missing persons from Cyprus by the head of the Department of the Coroner, Arsim Gerxhaliu.
There are still 1700 missing people from the war in 1998 and 1999 in Kosovo. /ibna/
