Kosovo continues to be the most isolated country in the region due to the hurdles in the visa liberalisation process.
The European Union has not yet taken a positive decision, while the integration process has been blocked due to the stalemate in the dialogue with Serbia.
Rapporteur for Kosovo and MEP, Tanja Fajon is hoping that dialogue between Kosovo and Belgrade and the visa liberalisation process will be addressed within this mandate of the EU institutions.
“I truly hope that the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and the visa liberalisation process will be solved within this mandate”, Fajon said.
Fajon issued this statement from Strasbourg, calling on Pristina and Belgrade to take action in order to address these two processes. /ibna/
