A powerful blast has been heard today around 2 am in the northern part of Mitrovica, causing several damages, but no casualties.
The blast has taken place in front of ‘Murga’ jewelry which is situated in ‘Lola Ribar’ street in the north of Mitrovica.
Police says that this jewelry had been robbed a few days ago.
Considerable damages in the surrounding shops, other buildings and cars that were parked nearby were caused by the blast.
The head of the Operations’ Room at the Police of Kosovo for the northern region, Zhelko Bojic said that this blast is suspected to have been caused by a bomb. /ibna/
