Bank of Albania projects positive economic growth in the first quarter of the year, affected by the growth of unexploited capacities in the labour market, capital and the financial liquidity of the banking system.
The Bank of Albania presented on Thursday its monetary policy report for the first quarter of the year.
According to experts of the central bank, economic growth in the first quarter of 2019 will follow the same positive trend of the fourth quarter of 2018. According to other data released by the country’s office for statistics, in the final quarter of 2018, economic growth was 3,1%, in the first quarter of 2018 economic growth was 4,42%, in the second quarter it was 4,32%, while in the third quarter economic growth was 4,48%.
According to the report, economic and financial developments in the country remain positive. /ibna/
