The “Cifte Amam” art gallery in Skopje hosted an exhibition with paintings and other art works called “Christian motives in the contemporary Macedonian visual art”. The National Gallery which is hosting the exhibition says that this exhibition elaborates the presence of religious motives in the contemporary visual art of the country at from the beginning of 20th century until today. This exhibition presents over 50 works from 25 painters and other artists from all generations of the art of the country such as Papadiski, Zografiski, Todorovski, Martinovski, Kondovski, Cemerski.
The author and host of the exhibition is Zlatko Teodosievski, who says that this exhibition brings back the mosaic of artistic values of the Christian motives which are part of the domestic artwork. /balkaneu.com/
