The vice president of the European Parliament, Rainer Wieland declared today that the European Parliament has not received any document to be voted regarding the liberalization of the visa regime for Kosovo.
After a meeting with the parliamentary group of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Wieland has invited politicians in Kosovo not to make promises for the date of the liberalization of the visa regime.
“There are still a lot of things to be done, but I can see that the country has made progress. We’re ready to support the country in the things it needs to deliver. The European Parliament insists that the requirements are delivered. I would like to ask everyone not to promise that the visa regime will be lifted anytime soon”, he said. /ibna/
