European Parliament Foreign Committee has approved a resolution on Albania.
Discussions on this resolution underlined the necessity of cooperation between government and opposition until final resolution is voted.
Meanwhile, MEPs underlined that regardless of who governs the country, the reforms should be taken forward.
Post electoral transition was praised as it was underlined that the opposition finally accepted the result of the elections.
On his part, rapporteur on Albania in the European Parliament, Nikola Vuljanic declared that the old government guaranteed a smooth transition of power and that the current government has been asked for cooperation. /ibna/
