Liberal Democrat Party in FYR Macedonia declared today that the monitoring committee at the Parliamentary Assembly of the European Council has put discussions on the political crisis in FYR Macedonia in its agenda.

“The reality of this crisis shows that European institutions have been alarmed by the developments in FYR Macedonia, due to the erosion of an entire state system. There’s no doubt that the European community is convinced that citizens of Macedonia no longer trust the government, parliament, prosecution and courts after the wiretapping scandal”, declared leader of LPD, Goran Milevski.

According to him, this situation which is marking the fall of state institutions is taking the country two decades behind.

“We must build a new system which must be based on the principles of the European Council, such as democracy, respect of human rights and rule of law”, Milevski, adding that the only solution would consist on an interim government and full monitoring by the international community. /ibna/
