European Federation of Journalists calls on Vetevendosje to stop harassing journalists in Kosovo

The European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) called on the Kosovo’s ruling party of Vetevendosje (LVV) to stop harassing journalists in Kosovo. The reaction was made by Ricardo Gutierrez, who is General Secretary of the EFJ, Gazeta Express reports.

“The EFJEUROPE calls on Vetëvendosje! (LVV) political party to stop harassing journalists in Kosovo,” Gutierrez wrote on Twitter.

The EFJ call came after journalist Berat Buzhala, has announced of an ongoing aggressive campaign of the Vetevendosje supporters against Gazeta Express and T7.

“The page meKryeministrin which is administered by LVV official’s family members, with around 300k followers, is pursuing an aggressive campaign against Gazeta Express and T7. Their use of hate speech is unprecedented,” Buzhala wrote on Twitter./ibna
