European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility, Marianne Thyssen arrived in Zagreb this Thursday for her first ever visit to Croatia.
Thyssen is in the country at the invitation of Croatia’s Labour and Pension System Minister, Marko Pavić.
Apart from minister Pavić, the EU Commissioner met with Nada Murganić, Minister for Demography, Family, Youth and Social Policy of Croatia.
During the day, Thyssen together with Pavić attended the High-level Conference on Employment, at the Opening “Challenges and impact of digitalization on Croatian labour force and implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights through the European Social Fund”.
