The Albanian government will receive 71 million euros from the European Commission budget to assist the agricultural sector and domestic businesses in general.
Along with a 23 million euro fund allocated by the Albanian state budget, this is considered to be a very important aid that European authorities are offering for these sectors. Meanwhile, the fund in question is part of the IPARD program, designed to assist EU candidate countries for the implementation of the acquis concerning the Common Agricultural Policy and to contribute to the sustainable adaptation of the agricultural sector and rural areas in the candidate country.
Meanwhile, the approval of this fund is expected to be officially made in October. It was the DG AGRI mission of European experts who visited Albania from 24 to 27 September 2018 to give the approval for the allocation of these funds by the European Commission. /ibna/
