Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama considered the report of the European Commission on Albania, which recommends the opening of accession talks, as a mirror that reflects the country’s achievements. According to him, the report also unmasks the deformations and the destructive efforts made by the opposition to give a bad image to the country.
“The report confirms that Albania has done its homework and this doesn’t come as a surprise for us. Of course, this is the same conclusion achieved a year ago, but the report is not the same. The report is clear about the fact that as opposed to a year ago, Albania has made progress”, PM Rama told MPs in the country’s parliament today.
Meanwhile, the European Commission issued a report on Wednesday where it recommends the European Union to launch accession talks with Albania. /ibna/
