In 2016, Albania has marked the highest economic growth in the region. Such fact was announced by the European Commission, according to which, our country has also registered a high level of foreign investments.
So, according to the European Commission, Albania’s economic growth for 2016 was 3.5%, followed by Kosovo with 3.4%, while FYROM, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina have registered economic growth amounting to 3%.
Meanwhile, as far as direct foreign investments are concerned, the European Commission has reported that last year, Albania has one of the best performances in the region with 8.9% of GDP, as a result of great projects such as TAP pipeline and the power plant in Devoll.
